I’ve recently finished my degree in TV Production and am now on a mission to explore the world. I know it sounds corny and naive but I’ve now realised (after learning a few things about myself) that I’m not really ready to settle into a career and all I really want to do is travel. This has been on the cards for a while but now it’s actually here I have to actually go through with it.
Being a very recent graduate my blog is about affordable travel for students, or graduates, or anyone who finds themselves in education. There’s plenty of ways to travel whilst still in that bubble and My Trip This Year will hopefully show you ways in which I’ve been able to do both and how you can too!
I’m not an expert by any means and many of my posts are just me being a bit daft and letting you into my deepest darkest secrets, but if even one person relates to my stories then I’m good with that.
Coming from a small seaside town in the north of the UK I was born with the sea air in my lungs… Seeing the horizon meet the sea is one of my favourite things in the world as there is no beginning or end. For me my home is where I sleep, whether that be in a hotel or a shack on a beach, if I’m there for the night, that is my home.
I’m learning as I go and will
probably most definitely make mistakes along the way, but hey, I’m not here to be perfect.
If your after weekly posts with lots of definite times you’ve come to the wrong place I’m afraid… I’m more of a say what I feel, do what feels right kinda girl.
I really love reading about where people are going and what inspired you to start travelling so feel free to leave lots of nice comments!
